Celebrate Independence Day for victims of human trafficking

On July 7th, The Tamarack District Library will host a special forum on Sex Trafficking Awareness. We are partnering with SetFree Movement to bring you information about this travesty against our children.
2014 ArtPrize artist, Pamela Alderman, has graciously loaned a few pieces of her “Scarlet Cord” installation to us. They can be viewed all during the month of July at the library.
WAR chest boutique items from Women At Risk, Intnl. are being offered for sale at the library from June 29 – July 7.
Author of “A Vulnerable World”, Elise Graveline Hilton, will be here on July 7th from 5:00 until 8:00 to sell her books and also to speak to us.
Senator Judy Emmons, champion of Michigan’s human trafficking legislation, will also be here on July 7th to speak to us. She will start at 6:30 pm.
