On Halloween, Friday, October 31, 2014, the Tamarack District Library will be closing at 4:00 PM to allow the ghouls (girls) at the library time to prepare for a Haunted Halloween. From 5:00 to 7:30 PM they will have special treats and tricks for the area children. Bats and rumors are flying around town, and there’s talk of spooky activities such as “The Donuts of Doom,” scary crafts and a mysterious maze for children to master. Everyone is guaranteed a frighteningly good time! Plan to include your local library in your Halloween itinerary.
