Beginning November 2, Tamarack District Library will be open without appointments.

  • We have a limited number of public computers for use.
  • All children under 13 must be accompanied by a Parent/Guardian/Adult at all times.
  • Material browsing in the stacks at the library are permitted.

When visiting our library, you may notice:

  • Visitors are required to wear a mask that covers their mouth and nose when visiting TDL. If you don’t have a mask, we will provide one for you.
  • Patron visits are limited to 30 minutes. A limited number of patrons will be allowed in the building. Please social distance during your visit.
  • Computers sessions are limited to 30 minutes. Staff are happy to help you browse and trouble-shoot any tech problems from a safe distance.
  • Our children’s play areas, meeting rooms, and study spaces are currently closed and much of our seating has been removed.
  • We are not circulating our special collections items i.e. STEAM kits, games, puzzles etc.
  • We’ve installed plexiglass shields at each of our checkout counter.
  • All building locations and library materials will be sanitized regularly by trained library staff.

Our hours are:
Monday, Wednesday and Friday 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Tuesday and Thursday 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Closed Saturdays
